I have been diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst (9.4 x 7.5 x 6.6 cm) it has a thin septation, and the walls of the parenchyma are compressed against the cyst.
I just wondered if the size of this cyst and the septation, would warrant removal? An MRI has been recommended, as well as tumour marker testing. I would like the cyst removing personally, as it is causing pain and my periods have become irregular.

I've had one removed about 2 year ago mi e was the size of a cricket ball they usually like to remove them of a certain size anyway but with it causing you pain its better to have it removed
I had my GP appointment today to discuss. They are checking tumour markers, then depending on how they come back, I'll either be referred on the 2 week wait or an ordinary referral.
I've thought about it since posting, and a lot of the pains and discomfort I have had for a few years seem to coincide with symptoms of an ovarian cyst. I had put them down to age and size, but since finding out and getting my head around it I have started listening to my body and I cant figure out how I didnt pursue these pains. I'm hoping this will help sway them. X
