I've noticed that when I have periods, I get pains in my stomach. These aren't the usual menstrual cramps either, I get them but this stomach pain is entirely different. Right now as I type this, I am struggling with the pain. It feels like what I would imagine your stomach to feel like if you haven't eaten in 2 weeks and also feels like I have been winded.
I've never had the pain this intense before and it is a little scary if I'm honest.
Does anyone else get this? If so, do you know what it is or why it happens? If you have any tips on how to relieve it, please do share.
I'm concerned it is caused my paracetamol but I cannot be sure, which is frustrating because I am too worried to take some for the pain in case it worsens.
It cannot be hunger because it only ever happens when I am on my period and I have eaten enough (my usual amount).
In case this is relevant... I am 28, my periods are always and is currently stupidly heavy and I did pass a very large blood clot earlier.
Any help, advise or comments on your own experiences are welcome. Thank you.
