Post Sepsis Syndrome

Has anyone had sepsis pretty bad? My wbc's were 27, 700 & now I have muscle & joint pain really bad. It's difficult to walk & no energy. It's devastating & can last a long time. My legs are swollen & I feel so weird inside. My body took a huge hit, I pray that I'll be ok. Before this I had meningitis so now I'm having more after affects because of all the inflammation.

Hello there, I have had sepsis and i emphasise with you. I don't know what started it of However excuse my lack of knowledge and my experience at this time when the world is suffering. If you don't mind me asking what is wbc? I can't see the doctor and unfortunately I'm not getting any better. I have abscess 's down both my legs which are septic. I feel like my immune system has got up and left me. I have a horse and she is my world but i can't ride as time ive done her stable or (poo picked her field) I have absolutely nothing left in me apart from pain and sickness I do hope ive not other troubled you. I got sepsis from a uti. WBC is white blood cells, mine were extremely high. If you need help you can go to er as sepsis is dangerous, maybe they can drain your abscess. I can't do the things I used to either. How long has it been for you? Can you walk alright & what are you doing to feel/get better?
