Last year I had this without any odour - my gp wasn’t going to do the swab as she was sure I didn’t have it because there was no fishy smell. However tested positive so prescribed antibiotics which seemed to clear it. Now back again but I notice the repulsive smell this time - at present we can’t get appointment with gp so have any of you ladies any advice.

You could try a vaginal probiotic. I had a quick look to see if that would work, and it looks like it helps in about 60% of cases:

Although whilst I was looking that up, this advert came up for superdeug who offer a home treatment without a need to see your GP/pharmacist first:

🤔There are a number of home remedies, and over the counter treatments, a pharmacist can offer the best advice with those. But by far the most effective is having an antibiotic prescribed from your GP. You could type bacterial vaginosis in the search box (top right, next to your profile) to see previous discussions.
