is this a normal period ?

so my period this month was a couple days late & it's dark red . i'm 15 & ive never had sex . so is it okay that my period is like this this month ? or should i be concerned

Throughout your life you will find that your periods will change sometimes heavier or lighter sometimes they may be longer or shorter or sometimes have clot's and sometimes not. It may have been darker cause you were late. If you feel that your periods have changed and you ever feel concerned something is not right book an appointment with the nurse at your surgery. From my teens onwards my periods have changed quite a lot over the years, hope this helps

Sounds ok to me too, I think sometimes the blood is darker if it has been building up longer ,nothing to worry about. Things you should get checked out are- clots bigger than the palm of your hand or bleeding that doesn't stop.
