Hello John, May I add some info for the readers of your post? BMI indicates under weight (<18), normal (18 to 25), over weight (26 to 30), obese (30 to 35) or morbidly obese (above 35).
Co-relate with BMR (Basal or resting Metabolic rate) or calorie burn rate of your body at rest. This needs a body analyser. Any Herbalife ditributor will be happy to do this free for you. BMR x 1.2 is your body calorie requirement if you are a sedentary person. Calorie requirement for a moderately active person (exercise 3 times a week) is BMR x 1.5. A very active person would need BMR x 1.7 and an athlete working out all days of the week would need BMR x 1.9. E.g. If a person with no exercise has a BMR reading of 1210, then that person needs a calorie intake of 1452 only. If they eat any calories more than this, it would be converted into fat. Hope this helps in creating clarity. More you can check my blog on this site.
