hi easwar, over eating also a disease. better get guidance from a personal wellness coach, who will study & monitor and suggest on regular basis. the suggestion will vary from per son to person.
the general suggestion is avoid empty calorie food, replace with food items rich in proteins and fiber.
Do you like taking walks? That is one of the best things for you. Find a partner to go for a walk with you a few days a week and you will see the weight drop. Try and walk a mile. Once you get used to that try more.
