New here. Looking for motivation to get rid of this extra weight.

Hi everyone. Im jo & new here. Im a busy mum of 5 ... my youngest is 20 months and ive been unable to shift the excess baby weight this time😢 Looking to get fit and eat healthier. I need lots of motivation. Im a bit of a night eater and quite often get up for a brew and to snack when the house is all quiet. 🙈🙈🙈

You have got your hands full!! I had three in 5 years and always thought it was a miracle I was overweight 😂

Seriously, you have come to the right place, this is a very busy forum with friendly chatty members who will encourage and support you all the way

I would start with basics, three meals, minimal snacking, and meals that fit in with the family. If you’re hungry during the evening perhaps you’re not eating enough through the day? Or perhaps not eating the right things? Have a look at the Daily Diary where we plan our meals and offer suggestions for simple changes. Also this is a really good chart showing what sort of foods will help your weight loss and what to avoid, (I thought I knew all there was to know but I was wrong!) healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Hi I'm new also. I'm just the same except for the baby weight those days are long gone lol It's the get up and go I need. I 've had a super message from indigoblue61. She said not to put pressure on myself. Make it simple and take basic steps and that's what I'm going to try. You sound like you have your hands full so maybe you could try the simple path and don't forget be good to yourself. Good luck we have taken our first step.
