Evening

A warm welcome to the community. I'm following the 12 week plan too (on week 3) 😊

You can find it here:nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-we...

I've downloaded it as an app, you can also print it off (I've not got a printer) or look at the website..

Calling TeamAdmin to give you a warm welcome too with more information about the forum (tomorrow of course - I'm late posting tonight 😊)

Evening Violet40 thank you for posting the correct website, I'm using my phone and have a Staffordshire bull terrier sitting on my knee quivering like a jelly because of the thunder.

I printed it off at work!! I've just started week 2 and getting used to the counting calories x

I'm not entirely sure how I found it but the website is nhs.uk/healthy -weight.

There is also an app, I printed off all the 12 week plan as I prefer hard copies to read, but either will do. There's loads of hints and tips, check out your calorie allowance using the NHS BMI calculator and the My Fitness Pal app for logging meals ans calorie counting. Good luck 🙂

Hello and welcome to the forum,

I see that Violet40 has given you the link to the plan :) Please make sure that you use the NHS BMI calculator to calculate your own personal calorie range. We suggest that you start at the top end of the range so that you have somewhere to go as you loose weight.

The 1400 number is generic and not right for all of us :)

If you haven't already, please take the time to read the Welcome Newbie post, this will help you to navigate the forum, which is best done using the full website and not the app.

Please also take a look at all of the Challenges, Clubs and Events that we have, to help to keep you motivated and engaged with the forum.

The above link will take you to all the information you need. Participation is key to success and I would recommend that you at least join the Daily Diary and a Weigh In day of your choice.

As a peer to peer support group, we all benefit from encouragement and support from one another, so look forward to seeing you join in around the forum :)

Wishing you the best of luck on your weight loss journey :)
