Hello Charlotte20 👋I took at look at the post to which you are referring and it seems you have actually replied to the Daily Diary rather than posting on the main part of the site. People go into the DD to enter their meal plans for the day so they wouldn’t have seen it. Please do give this community a chance to support you in your weight loss journey. I don't think we have met before. I have just had a look at your other posts. How is your little boy today? I hope that his ankles are not so swollen today and he is able to walk. Children are such a worry.
You will find that people don't always respond to posts, sometimes they move down the news feed and get a bit lost. If you are just looking for a bit of a chat then the best place to go is the Nutty Nattering thread, you can find the link in Pinned Posts. I see that you have joined in with both the Daily Diary and the Sunday weigh in, that's a great way to make some virtual friends.
What I would suggest now is that you don't just wait for people to respond to your posts, but you start to respond to others. There is plenty going on here for you to join in with and the more people you 'talk' to, the happier you will feel
Charlotte! I just saw your post without responses and replied - but if you want response to either the daily diary or weigh-in, you have to do it earlier in the day.
Being overweight and especially having high blood glucose and insulin - which I am willing to bet you do - makes your body think you are low on energy and tells you to sit and save your energy. If you can sort out your diet and metabolism, your body will want to move.
PS focus on diet to start. Exercise is only 20% of weight loss, so even if you do no exercise you will lose weight if the diet is right.
Hi Charlotte I didn’t see your post on Daily Diary when I Posted earlier - I think sometimes as S_B says depending on when you post you can get lots of responses or less - but that’s in no way a reflection on your post it’s just timing! I’m fairly new to this forum but have found the support invaluable - so do stick with it and comment away in the different chats and posts - I’ve found its the best way to start to get to know everyone and to get some really helpful tips and support to get healthy! 😊

I think things can get lost in the DD as there are so many posts and it moves so quickly.

Aww thank you that’s very thoughtful of you , I’ve felt low again today because I couldn’t run with my daughter when she asked me too . But I’m thinking of following slim fast meal plan and see how I get on and also might try doing the couch 2 5k and see if my daughter would like to come running with mummy x
C25K is a great idea - good for you! Sorry you felt low again yesterday. However your comments made me think of my mum - I think I have the least sporty mum in the entire world - but she more than made up for it in other ways and I feel very lucky to have her. You may not have been able to run with your daughter yesterday but don’t underestimate all the other positive benefits you are bringing to her life everyday! 😊 hope today is a better one for you!

I'm posting and reading posts in between other things in life (partly why I'm posting so late tonight)..
Like Food4Fuel's comment - hope that your day went better... Though we're nearly at the end of today and moving into tomorrow..
