Hi all, I love poached eggs and have one nearly every day, and I have for about 3 years. I sometimes mix it up and have an omelette. Instead. How do you like your eggs. My meals for today with my extras I'm just over 1400 cals

Great photos, Mable68 and with useful calorie counters, too!

My lunch today was wilted spinach with a poached egg on top. One of my favourite childhood meals was egg and chips (made by my mum.) I also love a frittata and another dish is full of greens fritters 🍽

Poached is probably my favourite but I like eggs any way they come - as a fry up with bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes (I do the mushrooms in butter); omelettes, favourites being blue cheese and walnut (I got that one from the Daily Diary) and smoked salmon and cream cheese; frittata, favourite being chorizo, red onion, red pepper, cherry tomatoes, topped with cheddar; baked egg, with smoked mackerel, cabbage, cream and cheese; shakshuka (another one I got from the Diary)

I also like eggs with green veg, particularly spinach and asparagus (I've had a load while it's in season). Tomorrow, I'll have poached eggs on pan-fried courgette with tomatoes. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing that can't be improved by adding an egg to it :)

I see you joined the Daily Diary on Sunday. Tuesday's is now open if you want to share your plans for tomorrow and see what others are having. It's a great place for tips and ideas.

I agree, it's harder on the phone. Make sure you're using the website, not the app, as that doesn't give full access to the forum :)

Oh no three days on the same weight and thought I had been good . Is coleslaw high in carbs ? I’m wandering if it’s my downfall it’s the Aldi creamy coleslaw ? Is it high in carbs? Any advice welcome. I’m going to fast today and have a brunch and evening meal though.
