Hello Walkinggranny and welcome to this Forum! You are in the right place for support :) You will have been sent a Welcome post on registration which gives you lots of advice and guidance on how to navigate this site.

Here's a reminder link to the Site Guide

There's a lot there but it's worth taking your time to read, honest!

We recommend you joining a Weekly Weigh In on the day of your choice, and using the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans and get useful feedback. You could have a look at todays' of both but note they will shut down approx 9pm and the new ones open for Wednesday at 9pm as well.

It would be a good idea to check out your BMI if you've not already done so..thiswill check your ideal weight and give you a calorie range; you don't need a tape measure just your weight and height and here's a link to the NHS calculator

The weekly weigh in is very good, I find, choose a day and weigh in each week, people really help each other with their ups and downs.

Also there is Fit is Fun, people post each week about the activities they do, and put pictures on, too.

I wish you all the best with your weight loss journey.
