Hello new members and regular contributors. Welcome to the daily diary, where you can post your meal and exercise plans for Sunday.
The aims of the Daily Diary are to record plans in order to firm them up and make it more likely they are adhered to. The magic of this site comes from sharing ideas with others pursuing their own weight loss journey. Please comment on at least one person above you or have a good chat and find friends. The support is phenomenal. Advice given is constructive and with a good heart and may not suit where you are, but six months down the line who knows. Please share your calorie range as per the BMI calculator and calorie count for menus or any alternative method of recording your intake that you may be using.
The Daily Diary has played a huge part in my weight loss and I am thankful for the kindness of its members. This is my first Christmas on the forum. You may have some great tips for getting through Yuletide to share, I would welcome these please along with your menu.

Morning hopalong1 and Madameirir, in this cold weather you canβt beat a nice hot bowl of soup!
Todayβs menu for me is:
B - Bacon and tomatoes
L - Soup and a roll (great minds)
D - Roast chicken dinner, piles of veg, spray light roasties and gravy π
Exercise - Removing all the furniture, clothes, boxes of toys, gaming systems etc. etc. out of my sons room to lay new flooring and move them all back in!
Good morning Hopalong1 itβs very quiet here today. Everyone must be busy getting ready for Christmas. Thanks for hosting. My meals are
First thing coffee ( it gets me going every day.)
Mid day soup
Sometime in the afternoon a fruit salad.
Evening. Stir fry.
Going to High st Kensington to see whatβs there. Not been up there been for a long time. Have lunch there. I will take Roxie out also been out once will go out with her before I go and again when I come back. π
Busy but good. I got some more corduroy jeans bottle green and dark grape ones. For Christmas some biscuits that I like with coffee almond biscuit (Italian ) my treat one of many as I am on my own over the holidays. First time for me. ππ
Well, I am glad you said that about the biscuits. Had a mince pie thing going on this week and the sherry of course. Hopefully I can tick them off now. I wish you health to wear your new trousers
Thank you bikerrrl yes I am while she is on heat keep her on the lead and we do 3 30 mins walk and 1 1hr walk.

milk in other hot drinks through the day - 200 cals
L: beans on toast; a banana; an apple and carrot muffin - 480 cals.
D: Mr Bikegrrl has undertaken to make a tuna pasta bake thing - not sure of the calorie count but, as we plan to finish the pear pie (300-ish), I think I have enough cals in the "bank" to see me through.
Exercise: housework (boo!) - some cycling later, as we have an extra choir rehearsal.
I am going to pop outside just now for a walk in the sunshine, before it goes away!
Good on you with the housework. I must keep telling myself it is great exercise Sometimes only baked beans on toast will do. Hope you have had a lovely Sunday.
House work ugh I would give it a miss. I do anything to get from doing it. π Had a good day out back home now and worn out. We had a cheese and ham toastie with a Cappuccino. Long time since I have done anything with out Roxie. So it was a real treat. ππ
I don't calorie count ( used to get me so stressed) but try to be mindful of calories if that doesn't sound contradictory, focus more on healthy eating, boosting veg intake, healthy fats and minimising carbs
Breakfast Greek yoghurt blueberries and cuppa tea
Lunch soup, no bread and Americano plus milk
Tea I'm trying a new recipe involving stir fried Brussels sprouts (no noodles or rice)followed by green salad with beetroot.
Will have a g&t and some green olives about 7pm
Can't find my recommended daily calorie intake at present, will add shortly
Really pleased that have kept away from snacking (Thanks Hidden !) And the bread.
Good luck to everyone in keeping to your plans π
It looks a lovely day. What else did you put in your sprout stir fry? My husband loves sprouts as much as I don't. We cannot all be the same This way of eating has made me love filter coffee, so never say never on the sprouts. With the baked beans above, I have Heinz no added sugar. Sometimes now I find things too sweet. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Diane.
There's what looks like a great sprout recipe at the end of this link that may even appeal to non-sprout people. I haven't tried it yet so can't guarantee it tastes as good as it looks theguardian.com/food/2019/n...
