Begining of New Challenge
Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum 😊
You are so right about consistency, I heard it described as ‘consistently good rather than occasionally brilliant’ . . . I take this to mean lots of small achievable changes, nothing too dramatic or anything that makes you feel hungry and deprived. If you’re eating food you enjoy and in decent quantities there’s no need to lose interest (or get distracted) Also have a look at this about why we find it harder to utilise carbohydrates as we get older, and why what is often perceived to be “healthy” actually isn’t healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
You will have been given links to our Pinned Posts in your Welcome message when you first joined, please read them carefully, especially the Welcome Newbies and the Security Post, especially as I notice your post is unlocked
This is a very busy forum with lots going on but feel free to ask if you have any questions 😊
Best Wishes in your weight loss journey

Welcome and I wish you well on your weight loss journey. I think it helps to keep the mind focused when you have a target in mind - your daughter's graduation and you've given yourself a decent timescale to change your eating habits and lose some weight. Just think how much better you will feel in that new outfit next June.
