Diet AGAIN

Ok now decided as of next Friday this is my start date. I have actually taken time to myself and also on mend mental health wise a bit. Anyway took time to just me while everything has been less hectic and quieter and managed to finally sort out a food plan from a cook book which also has a food and weight diary with it. I get paid next week so it will all be nice stuff I get no junk. No greasy kebab just a homemade one from cook book so I know wt I am eating

Thanks. I have struggles last week or so and gained weight and binged yesterday as after work I couldn’t be bothered so ordered a takeaway but with my weigh in usually Saturday mornings I will never redeem myself and I am on a tight budget at the moment. I have only just started shopping at work with staff discount and nectar for my meat etc. Once it’s gone apart from my takeaways my other meals (home made lasagna, veg sheppie pie etc) I am gonna try and add lentils in place of meat see if it will help any

A mix of mince and lentils works well for cottage pie, and you can bulk it up with loads of veg. Eating well doesn't have to be expensive. See Hidden 's The Cost of Healthy Living challenge in Pinned Posts

Lentils and mince is great - i think it's tastier and, of course is generally cheaper but don't forget to check for your yellow knock down stickers at your local supermarket!!

I find mince tends to be an item regularly knocked down in price so can usually be picked up even cheaper than it already is!! Quite often as low as £1 for 500g.
