Hi all. Ive just started the nhs weight loss program as im in desparate need of losing weight. Ive already managed to lose around 11ib by myself before starting the program by eating healthy food and cutting calories to around 1400 per day and some exercise. Has anyone got any tips on how i can stick to the program and tone up whilst i lose the weight as my worst areas are my tummy and arms aka bingo wings. I have 3 children and managed to lose baby weight with my first and second child but after my last child was born i kept the weight and gained lots more. I dont suppose anyone has tips on how i can lose my tummy fat and get rid of bingo wings.

Hello, Dragonwarriorje, and welcome to the forum 😊

My first tip would be to get a personalised calorie range and make good use of it, as 1400 is probably too low for you. Your best chance of sticking to the programme is to eat enough. Use the NHS BMI calculator nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-we...

In terms of where the weight goes from, you can't target specific areas so just work on losing those pounds one at a time. Maybe take some measurements, too, as we often find that, when the scales are stuck, there's some movement with the inches.

Well done on loosing on your own prior to joining us. You will find info on exercise on the site and in the sheets. I think week 2. And check your personal allowance on BMI checker. And good luck
