Hey, I’m 23 and really struggling at the moment. I’m very self concious about how I look. I’ve been on the diet band wagon for as long as I can remember and have still not gotten anywhere. I just really need help.

Hey Dulcatcartoo and welcome! In order to find ways to improve your eating habits it can be helpful to write down every sip and bite you take in for a week or two, simply to get an idea of what they look like now. Tally up the calories if you want to compare them to your personal NHS recommendation or just see where and when unnecessary stuff comes in (usually when we're bored, stressed, or tired). Whatever road you decide to take: best of luck!
Hi, DulcetCartoon , Welcome.
Many young people get lead astray by the current "Image culture".
It is not all about the number on the scales - but are you actually overweight?
If you want to look good, then exercising might help - and you would probably lose weight as a side benefit.
Hey S11, I agree it’s stressful constantly comparing myself but yes I am overweight. I’ve lost weight before and have been close to reaching my goal I just find I always binge and get back to where I am if not worse. I done my BMI on the Nhs website and it’s 27 so overweight close to obese. I’m just going to take a new route on WeightLoss and focus on becoming fit and healthy now instead of obsessing over being thin😊
If you are fit and muscular BMI 27 is fine - you could try estimating your body-fat percentage.
You are young, but for old men (even if they are not tall or muscular) BMI 28 is considered (by many sources) to be ideal for optimising life expectancy.
