If you google that I’m sure you will get many different answers. If your asking a non expert like me; I’d say about 10 to 12.

If you worrying about the cholesterol, I don’t think anyone believes the scare stories anymore 😊

As with most food groups, a variety of protein sources is recommended, and of course, it will depend upon your calorie target how much you eat at one meal.

I imagine you'll get sick of them long before you can eat "too many", whatever too many means.

As IndigoBlue61 said, the official advice no longer has anything to say about dietary cholesterol, and there was never any science-based reason for imagining it was a problem in the first place.

I personally do not think there is a limit......You do not say why you are asking?

I use to raise and breed all types of poultry and chickens and so ate many many eggs, as did my entire family. I also wrote a book on chickens, their meat and eggs. I never found any evidence of them being bad for humans in any way.

I never believed the cholesterol reviews on eggs being bad, either. I am 70 and I still eat 2 every morning beat up and gently fried in olive oil, then flipped once and folded in half with a touch of salsa on them. (The salsa is only because after working with eggs for many years collecting, incubating them, candling them, etc. I saw eggs in many different forms and ways and it took a couple years for me to be able to even continue to eat eggs, so I began topping them off with various things, such as herbs, pepper or salsa).

All I know is they are still one of our cheapest forms of protein and they are so versatile.......

Thank you but I joined a long long time ago but it was no help as I do not now about stones and kgs and the British talk of measurements. It was too hard for me to know what was going on because of that........

Please go back and lock your post , it says something like ‘community only’

There are days where I have 2 eggs and 4 whites a day , or 6 eggs . Egg cholesterol won’t raise yours , depends if they make you constipated !

Years ago I followed a mayo clinic diet which was six eggs and three oranges a day for two weeks. Like most others have said I don't think there is a limit.

I am trying to loose a few pounds. I know on Slimming world diet , eggs have no points. I thought i woud try the diet. I remember the dietician saying no more than 3 a week. A good few years ago. Thanks all i will eat as many as i want now,

I think you'd be better off steering clear of diets, especially those that give points to foods and describe some foods in negative terms like "syn". Not the best way to develop a healthy relationship with food.

Eggs are fine years ago the government suggested we limit eggs to a certain amount. However that advice has been rescinded . You can eat as many eggs as you want. However, in my experience if I eat too many eggs I get constipated :)
