I have to admit it I am fat! Trouble is that I have just had a back operation so cannot do very vigorous exercise. The only thing I can manage is walking the dog every day. Probably about half an hour.
Any tips please?

Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum glamgran56
I like your user name by the way, it could be me as I’m 56 and a new Granny, but I’m not feeling quite so glam after festive over-indulgence!! Lol 😊
I hope your back soon heals, walking is an excellent exercise and many of us like the Lesley Sansome walking videos on You Tube, especially the ‘Happy Walk’. I also like yoga but have to advise caution just now after back surgery, have you seen a Physio? They are very useful for exercise advice.
For weight loss however, it’s far more important to eat less, it’s about 80% diet and 20% exercise
