New year, new goals!

Hi, I'm determined to follow the 12 week nhs programme and get back to a healthy weight. A target of at least a stone which I'm confident is very doable. I hope this forum will help motivate and support me. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi and welcome Mrsteacher this is a very supportive forum and we are pleased to have you join us - the NHS 12 week plan is very good and is a healthy eating plan :)

I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out, or restarting. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link

You'll find all the information you need to navigate the forum in the header, so please take the time to read it carefully.

Wishing you all the best :)

Thank you H4ppy1 and cracker10. You've made my day! Will be shopping today to get ready for a week's meals. It's all down to positive thinking!

I've found planning has kept me focused and away from distractions - with the bi-product of saving me money as I'm more organised!

I'm following the NHS plan and looks like I'll have lost a stone by the end of the 12 weeks (then the hard work really starts for me!) Good luck :)

Welcome Mrsteacher and good luck with the NHS plan, it certainly helped turn my life around.

The other part of the equation was this forum. There are people who do very well in isolation but you'll probably find that most of the success stories here are the regulars who help each other and, it goes without saying, are helped by the others.

Good luck with your journey.

Well done marymanc! Looks like the plan is really working for you. I'm sure I will need to plan very carefully because I'm so lazy. At work if I don't have a lunch prepared I just have a meal of biscuits as they're easy and to hand. How daft is that! Proper preparation will sort me out! Good luck with the rest of your weightloss.

You and I are alike on the ''lazy food' front. I never used to have breakfast or lunch as I just couldn't be bothered. Eating 3 times a day has been a big help in my weight loss as I 'never' (not quite true) reach a point where I just stuff my face stupid :)

I now use the Daily Diary here to write down what I'm going to eat the next day. It helps me prepare in my head and gives me the focus I need to prepare for them.
