Hi Restart

I mainly dirnk tea with no sugar and skimmed milk or water. If you have a look at our Daily Diary in the Events section on the home page you will be able to see what other members are having on their daily plans.

Hi Restart

I drink soda water - because I dislike plain tap water (unless the weather is really hot), herbal teas, regular tea with skim milk.

:)

It used to be alcohol and then diet tonic with angostura and now mostly water.

that was me too Tiggerr. before I quit drinking. now I drink (you will all think I am barbaric) lots and lots of iced tea with no sugar or milk. I live in texas remember so we all drink sweet tea (except I like it better without). I also try to drink a lot of water and maybe a soda now and then.

Not barbaric. I only started drinking tea at home this year. I've moved to chai tea but without sugar. I tested a number of loose leaf black teas until I decided that I preferred Assam and now make my own spice mix to go with it.

We're all individuals, which is one of the reasons that makes this forum so exciting. That we can learn so much outside of our normal experience. Yesterday I ate raw celery for the first time ever (twice) and didn't shrivel up and die. I've been trying to keep an open mind and try everything so I'll be more than happy to try iced sugarless tea in the summer.

I try and save enough calories for a hot chocolate drink before bed, but this is 80 calories....or have a vanilla chai tea for a more healthy 10 calories (splash of skimmed milk) if no calories left!

This Christmas, because so many of our friends would be driving (and Scotland has much stricter drink drive rules than the rest of the UK, basically ZERO alcohol allowed) I made an alcohol free fruit punch with fizzy water and lots of chopped apple, orange, lemon and fresh cranberry’s. I have drunk this all week and it feels like a proper grown up drink and looks really pretty in a wine glass.

I can’t find the recipe now or I would share the link!!

Evening drinking, like evening nibbling, is a habit and all habits can be changed. 😊

I often have either a Becks Blue or Nanny State (both alcohol free beers) with dinner. Then redbush tea without milk (I don't like milk).

Prosecco, unfortunately! But change is on its way.. Will be stockingup on soda water next time I shop and within a week or two tap water will suffice - judging by past experience..

Tea, Yorkshire with semi skimmed milk, multiple mugs full! If I'm really thirsty water with a splash of fruit juice to mask the fluoride-y taste.
