I believe I started my weight loss at 268 at least that is where I should have started it. at any rate, I am down 16 pounds to 252. I am quite excited as thanksgiving just passed and I did not eat my weight in turkey and stuffing and pie! I was fairly good in all this and am feeling pretty good now. my weight loss is slow but sure and I feel better every day. I am sorry I have not posted in a while. family issues have kept me down but I got my son situated and all seems to be better now. he is looking for a job and will be staying with me only temporarily. it is difficult to bring adult children home but it is working for now. I am still eating smaller meals and the portion control is working yay!!! this forum is saving my life and I appreciate all of you!

According to your original post, Katy, your start weight here was 262lbs, having already lost 6lbs, so you are correct in thinking that you've lost 16lbs. Well done you! :)

I'm glad that things are going well with your son and that you're continuing to monitor your eating successfully.

Keep up the good work! :)

I'm delighted for you katy9617 . To lose over a stone in seven weeks is amazing. I certainly wouldn't call that slow. I hope I can survive Christmas as well as you've survived Thanksgiving.

I'm so glad that things are more settled for you now and hope your son is successful getting a job soon.

Please to hear how upbeat you're feeling now, but Remember we are all here for you, especially when life is getting you down.

Have a lovely day.

Congratulations on surviving Thanksgiving! It's always a hard one for me, especially as it also seems to herald the start of the holiday eating. :P

Very tricky. Hope your son manages to find gainful employment quickly and glad that you're feeling better. :)
