Me and my daughter go to walking trails and various parks and outdoor places for scavenger hunts for painted rocks. There are several thousand people across Texas that paint and hide rocks outdoors in nature to inspire people to get out and find joy in the art. My daughter found one near the walking trail and one at the park in a tree. We didn't know what it was until we looked online. She gets so excited because she already has a rock collection. We just walked six miles looking for them and collecting some to paint. It's such fun!! Maybe it will inspire you to bring some joy to a random person where you live and it's a great activity for kids. Have fun!

What a lovely idea, and it's not robbing nature of anything.. Great post and lovely activity for families.. So glad you got such a good walk too!
Have a lovely weekend ahead..
Cheering you on ๐๐๐
Thank you.
What a lovely idea. Wonder how it got started ? We could do with something similar.
That would be great to get started!
That's great and also intriguing, as I found a large pebble about a month ago with a frog painted on it. It was tucked down near a gate post on the river bank and there was some writing on it that I couldn't make out. I thought it might have something to do with geocaching and left it there but maybe it's linked to the nature program you've mentioned.
I bet it was!!
We have the same idea going on in my corner of the UK. There's a Facebook group too so you can post your creations and your finds.
I love it!!
These are very pretty Hidden and such a lovely pastime for you and you daughter, very nicely painted ๐
100 BB points to you ๐
