Welcome Hidden Improper sleep is so debilitating so I hope that your aim to lose weight pays dividends. Have you spoken to your doctor as I believe there are additional avenues of treatment.

An administrator will reply to your post and provide you with a link on how best to use this forum.

Wishing you all the best on your new journey to a healthy lifestyle.

Thank you. I'm sorting out my diet with a trainer and he saw instantly that it was high in sugar and carbs.

The doctor has proven useless in terms of diet and helping with the sleep apnea issue. He missed the symptoms 5 years ago and prescribed sleeping pills which made things worse. He apologised recently but I've been waiting over two months for a consultant appt' to be referred to a sleep clinic.

I was signed off work for two months with fatigue as a result of the apnea but it means nothing to the NHS. The doctor even suggested I go private to shortcut the process. That'll cost £200 to see a consultant.
