The first thing to do is to make a plan of action Check your BMI on this site and decide how many calories a day you’re going to eat and how much activity you will undertake. What you need to do is eat less calories than you are using and then hey presto you lose weight
The most important thing is to note every piece of food you eat and all your drinks other than water so you have an honest record of how many calories you consume
