Well it was rather windy at the top of the hill today and my app failed to record my distance but I know I burned 1200 calories tho from the previous walk yesterday.

It was so much easier today doing the walk with weight as my leg muscles had been stretched/broken and fibres repair quickly as I am used to a army recovery time period of 12 hours rather than 24 hours recovery.

Tomorrow I will know when I do the same walk if I am having enough rest but we shall see.

Otherwise a lovely and enjoyable walk and tonight I am currently renovating my brothers house and ripping out ceiling and clearing up which helps burn my fat stores.

I think I had breakfast this morning but I did have 1k calories worth of sandwiches during the day in which I did not feel hungry.

I haven't had dinner yet. I have snacked on a banana and mango chunks with a bit of cucumber on the side.

I am wondering if it's even worth having dinner later but I know I should do that so I don't wake up during the night with hunger rage... as I did last week.

I still can't believe how much weight I am losing with out running what so ever... I think some people many think running and going hard at it is a must for fat burning.

But in my experience going soft and walking and doing these long 2 hour walks seems to do the trick without being out of breath all the time. Even then 30 mins or 1 hour still makes a difference.

I will do a video on this at the end of the month and the health benefits of just walking is massive and you can put in as much effort as you like without getting your running kit on.

Hi SilverSpeed, just found your post so sorry the reply is so late but as they say better late than never. Wow sounds like you are really on a roll with the walking and then off renovating. Your snack of mango, banana and cucumber sound nice. I need to eat more fruit. Use to be a jogger but when I broke my foot cant so like walking. Should try and put in extra effort and do at least an hour a day. The weather though puts me off when its cold:) Looking forward to seeing what you weight is on Sunday and your video. Yea well I must say I fully understand your position having have a injury like that I hope that you enjoy walking as I do 👍.

I must say I was well aware of the Coke coming so because I have been out and about mostly everyday I have got used to the shock of the cold and prepared by carrying a jacket in my bag to wear when I stop on my walks.... I feel so lucky to have such a good hill near me but the down sides are a lack of cycle paths when I transition into cycling when it starts getting light again.

After jogging I really didnt do much or tried half heartedly and then became a couch potato so of course the weight gain. But now on this forum will try and get back into things especially walking. I think the opposite when its cold I wear my jacket out first:) You are lucky to have a hill in the area and sounds like the view is great too. Guess you are now used to doing the up hill slog, me I think I'll start with level ground first though there are small inclines too. Hope that you can find an area where you can ride your bike too.
