Hi Oscar102, YellowRose is spot on. You should lose weight slowly and steadily for good reasons. 1. You want to keep the weight off and people who crash diet often put the weight back on because they see it as a diet and not a lifestyle change. Therefore, they don't learn the good habits and fit weight loss into everyday life eg social events. 2. There seems to be a 'sweet spot ' of calories needed to lose weight, if you go below this the body seems to fight against you and doesn't lose weight. You will need to find what yours is because everyone is different. I like many on here have tried going too low and was surprised when it didn't work!
Every pound you lose will improve your health
Good luck with it

Exercise isn't the "be all and end all", but what you eat is! At risk of sounding like a bossy teacher, you need to plan for three healthy meals per day. If you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will find it much easier not to snack all day. If you are really serious about this, then start planning. Have a look at the Daily Diary to see what others eat to stay comfortably full all day, and still lose weight. Good luck!
