Doing this for my son: Hi all, my 1... - Weight Loss Support
Doing this for my son
Hi CarolanneB and welcome to the weight loss forum.
Your son could join the forum as 16 is our starting age to join. Have a good look around the forum and read all the information as there is lots of useful advise there. This is a very friendly and supportive forum and your son Bradley is very welcome to join us all.
You are invited to join our Newbie Club, where you can meet other new members who are just beginning their weigh loss journeys too. Here's the link for all the information you will need to find your way around the forum:

Write a brief note to introduce yourself to other newbies and I'm sure you'll be making friends, in no time.
Good luck with your first week.
I am sure he is delighted to have you alongside him. Think about cutting out all processed foods and cooking from fresh ingredients so that you know what goes into his meals, of course you may already do this.
Think about carbs, particularly bread, pasta (anything with flour in it) and potatoes- we don’t really need them in our diet.
Have a look in the recipe section under topics and pop along to Daily Diary for shed loads of ideas and lovely chats with forum friends.
Hi and welcome to you both to the forum! You will got lots of hints and tips as you go, but especially encouragement and celebration. You just have to turn up in order to get it! I rarely make it to the keyboard but I know they're there, and that helps me along in the days in between, which is when the real work and progress happen. See you soon, and good luck to you both!
Hi and a warm welcome to you both... take your time finding your way around the forum and post often. You'll find encouragement and support here and don't forget the wisdom you both have to share. Best wishes
Looking forward to celebrating each success along the way with you and Bradley 😊😊
Hi CarolanneB
Lucky boy to have such a supportive Mum
Don't do it all for him though. Include him in the dinner choices. Go through recipes with him. And even get him to help with the preparation of the meals. Anything to get him interested and learning to set him up for his future
Good luck Bradley
