Hi Hidden I started 2wks ago and like you felt I was in the right headspace perhaps the nudge from my GP also helped!!! I haven't used a forum before but I do find it helpful coming on each day and reading the posts helps to keep me motivated and the daily diary is useful for ideas of food to cook and different ones to try. Hope you have a good first week:)

Hi and welcome Hidden :)

Wishing you all the best with your weight loss journey :)

Thank you all so much for your support any ideas on how to weigh your foods easy tips or suggestions will be extremely welcome as I don't usually like weighing.

I've tried slimming world but no joy I'm taking loads of pain killers as I have bulging disc in my back which is pressing on nerves.I have been told the tablets I take increase your appetite and makes you gain weight (side effects)

Ok so last week I tried doing c25k ,i done really well (Mon Wed Fri ) then on Saturday morning as I was getting up for work I had pain in my knee it's ok when walking its when I get up to stand or sit down it hurts the most .

This morning I thought I'd give week two a go but can't jog /run because of pain in my knee.

I know this is long winded but my question is what do others do to try and lose weight
