...as the tales of success are impressive (so there's less of you to see...do you see?)
Anyway, I'm new here. Just finished a local NHS Weigh Ahead programme (8 weeks of dietician advice and circuit class workouts, plus post-course weigh ins). My weight loss was only 3lbs over this time BUT it proved I eat healthily, exercise well and cause head scratching because:
My diet was analysed (separately to the course) and I take in 1800/2000 cals a day on average. I walk a lot - my Fitbit tells me 100,000 steps a week and a daily burn of 4000 cals. A lot of this is canal and river walks where I live, with lunchtime walks from work 3 days a week.
So 2000 cals in & 4000 out. Therefore (!) I must be losing weight - but I'm not. Anyone else have a similar scenario. I know there will be sceptics who think I must eat deep fried Mars bars in my sleep but I honestly don't.
Leigh
PS I'm 18 stone, if that has any bearing on things.

Hi LeighBosworth and welcome to the weight loss forum.
Well done in losing 3lbs with the NHS Ahead programme. Sometimes we don't lose the pounds but lose inches instead, have you measured yourself since you started?
