Look into my eyes, can't you see they're open wide?
Would I lie to you, baby, would I lie to you
Don't you know it's true
Girl, there's no one else but you
Would I lie to you, baby, yeah
So to tell you the truth I have put on a little weight this week rather than lost some. I know it is not the end of the world, but I thought I better tell the truth with the scales, my weekly check in and most importantly you good people; hence my choice of songs this week.
I could say the reason was after several contracts with lots of promises of permanent work at the end of them I have finally had a confirmation my contract is confirmed, my work is up-to-scratch and I am now settled in a permanent role. Well as permanent as modern society permits. Look into my eyes, can't you see they're open wide?
Would I lie to you, baby, would I lie to you
Don't you know it's true
Girl, there's no one else but you
Would I lie to you, baby, yeah
Oh yeah
I am still alive and I have time to lose those two pounds again!
Good luck with your ventures.
