Passing Out.....

No, not a Passing Out Parade 'cos I've achieved my target, (I wish....) passing out with hunger! Urrrrrgh... gimme food......

I have taken in 1334 calories today so far. This evening I have been busy tidying up/putting away stuff following a friend's stay and I am absolutely ravenous again now. I don't know what to eat that will keep me under 1400 calories but will stave off this horrible woozy feeling. I suppose an apple would do the job, but I'd rather have a bar of chocolate! Crumbs, the last 4lbs I'm trying to lose is SUCH hard work. Lots of temptations over the last couple of weeks so it seems like torture to turn my back on all the lovely goodies.

Sorry folks, I know I'm being really negative, grumpy and defeatist this evening.

Time to 'fess up and admit that really, I just love food. Eating it, dreaming about it, cooking it.... um actually, not that last bit. Hey, anyone still reading this drivel?!

So. An apple it is then. Oh joy.

Hi battlethebulge

I was still reading it!lol. I would go for the Apple rather than the chocolate! I think we are all here because we all love food too much so your not alone. Keep going you can do it.

Quick, just go to bed. Tomorrow you'll feel different.

That horrible woozy feeling is probably due to being tired after looking after your guests and then clearing up. Drink plenty of water, eat the apple and go to bed. The chocolate will make you feel more lethargic and then miserable. Get some rest and take care.

Try a nice hot drink, a herbal tea, or a teaspoon of nut/ peanut butter!

Hi everyone and thanks for responding to my 'moaning Minnie' session. I tried to reply last night but had techy problems again and the reply wouldn't register.

I had an apple in the end, which helped, I went to bed straight after that and thankfully got off to sleep fairly quickly. Very hungry again this morning despite having fruit and porridge for breakfast. just off to the kitchen for a kiwi fruit....

Thanks again and good luck to you all with your own foodie demons!

Grapes are good, as per the cal counter they are a calorie each so you could have had 66 of them, quite a handful (or two) of fruit! I always find quaffing a load of water helps too.

Frozen grapes are good too, as Ceals says, they are like little bursts of sorbet.
