I started my journey 8 weeks ago and decided that rather than take my measurements I would gauge my weight loss by seeing how many jean sizes I could drop.
I started on March 5th filling my size 22 jeans very well ๐ฎ
On April 2nd I bought the same pair of M&S ยฃ15 straight leg jeans in a size 20
Today I went shopping and though I would give the size 18 a try as my size 20 were feeling a little baggy.
For the first time in 10 years I am in a size 18 pair of jeans ๐ ๐ I bought them and even told the lady at the checkout what I had done ๐
Lucky my M&S Sparks points card sends me ยฃ5 off jeans and trouser vouchers ๐
I think by making myself wear jeans that fit snugly, that in my head I think my clothes still feel too tight and I try to watch what I eat. I know that when I wear baggy clothes I hide behind them and can over-eat.
2 sizes in less than 2 months - wow you must have lost so much weight. I have lost the same in 6 months having lost 4 1/2 stone in that time. Well done for doing it so fast. I am impressed - you make me feel slow
No not at all! You've lost 5 Stone that's incredible, I'm so impressed by that! ๐๐ผ
I didn't think it would be that quick either! I've lost 18lbs so far, but to be honest I think it's gone from tummy & rear first which makes jeans fit a lot better ๐
It's great that you can see results so quickly - it's an inspiration to people just starting. I think you are right about baggy clothes. My size 22/24 from Evans were elasticates baggy, now I am in size 18 fitted stuff I feel a lot better. I am still 17 stone 6 but that better than the 23 stone I was in September! Keep going and you will be in size 16 soon!
Thank you ๐ it does help me stay focused as I know it's got to be a new way of life. And who doesn't enjoy a bit of shopping ๐ especially when clothes finally start to fit. It a great feeling ๐๐ผ
That is fantastic going to go from size 22 to 18 in 8 weeks. Well done you and keep up the great work. I love the way your measuring your weight loss journey.
