Well done 👍🏻
I keep thinking about doing the parkrun near me, but for some stupid reason I talk myself out of going.
I'm doing C25K and I'm on week 6. I really should give myself another talk to.
I hear there is a nice atmosphere at park runs
Hi Ella I recommend the Park Runs I have now done 5, I do struggle but get round. The people who run these events are great & the atmosphere is great marshals & other runners give much encouragement & you are never left to finish at the rear on your own there is allways a tail runner who stays with you I have made friends with a few tail runners as I am usually at the rear. Have a go you will feel good at the finish line.
I am not sure my joints are ready for high impact stuff. They say it puts 3x body weight through your joints when you hit the pavement - think I will lose a couple more stone before I try. At the moment I walk, swim, cycle and use rower
Hi Ella I don't know how much you weigh but you know yourself if you are not ready to try jogging. I think you are doing very well with all that you are doing at the moment I don't like swimming & find cycle machines at gym very uncomfortable I also never learnt to ride a bike outdoors & don't fancy trying now (ha ha ).
Hi Sookie I recommend doing the park run it does not matter whether you run, jog or walk it makes you feel good about yourself when you reach the finish line, go on give it a go.
