For the past week I have been eating everything under the sun; chocolate McDonald's chocolate, crisps, chocolate, drinking coke.. I'm tipping the scales at 18 stone and I'm now really scared for my health.
Has anyone done the same and gotten over it?! Lost weight?

Before I go to places like McDonald's or restaurants etc as I still have it occasionally now, I look them up online and look at the calorie and nutritional information of them all and make my mind up then what I am going to have if I can. If I can't do this I ask in store and refuse to buy until I get the info from them. I believe each place should have nutritional info with regards to people who cannot eat certain foods and need to know for medical reasons. I did this in Pizza Hut with them once and the manager came and gave me apologies instead and also said if we still had the item my husband wanted he would make me one in the under 600cal range for free as they do these pizzas too but he couldn't get the info of the one we wanted. If I didn't moan and ask for it I wouldn't have got this. My husband was well happy then as he got his whole pizza to himself which he ate for lunch at work the next day too. It nearly always works for me to get the info.
Have a read through the "New Year Amnesty" post in the Pinned post section on the right side. It will help you get into the right mind set for losing weight. Just draw a line under what you have eaten and start afresh tomorrow.
