Does anyone know- if using my fitness pal, if I can have 1500 cals & burn 200 cals should I eat 200 more so I'm eating my 1500 or not?

In theory, yes Nicmic but it's very difficult to accurately judge how many calories have been burned. The NHS BMI checker can be adjusted for levels of activity and is perhaps a better target to aim for, MFP can be a little mean!

I think the exercise calories are over estimated and only ever eat back half of them.
A lot of people overestimate how many calories they burn through exercise. It's difficult to measure unless it's done under controlled conditions with the proper equipment.
The cardio machines at the gym and activity trackers are not accurate regarding calorie expenditure.
When I was losing weight I didn't do that and it worked for me. The only times I ate slighty more was on the days I weight trained. And that was extra protein to encourage muscle growth.
