I'm afraid I having nothing good to report this week, I have gained all that I lost last week, back to 16st 4lb. I am seriously considering giving up sugar and my Mum, who I will not be living with soon - is a bad influence! I go to London for a few days this week so I don't expect it to be good news next week either. Good luck to all. Jp.

Week Seven of 52
Don't be disheartened. Just draw a line under this week and start again. Get yourself in the right frame of mind and try and make good food choices when away in London
Good luck
Ps - I have been terrible this week. Have woken up with a positive mind this morning! Here's hoping.
Thanks Newgirl1970 you have put a smile on my face with your kind words and sensible attitude. I will try not to go crazy in London, but it is a treat couple of days off so don't want to be on diet mindset! Thanks again and good luck. Jp.
Sounds like you're thinking positively - what can you do to change things around. I really recommend looking up some healthy places when you come to London. There are some great healthy options at places like Giraffe, Pizza Express, Pret etc. And it's worth looking up veggie restaurants too
Thanks Ruth-Canal-runner I couldn't find the healthy restaurant ideas you gave me last time I spoke about London. I have kind of already got my mind set on Chinese, I am kind of addicted and I haven't had one in ages! But I can be more sensible at breakfast and make other positive choices. Plus I have another day - I won't want Chinese twice! Thanks again. All the best. Jp.
You can have chinese and still be healthy. Also, look here mildreds.co.uk/soho/ and pret.co.uk/en-gb/little-veg...
That is brill, thanks
One good thing you can do is change any sugar you use in home made things into sweeteners. This really does help you more than you would ever realise. I done this years ago and lost 3st
- I am sure it will tip off those pounds- maybe aim for a STS this week - and damage limitation in London.
I try to eat healthily on the meals i can control. E.g. - breakfast - porridge or scrambled eggs. I have some healthy snack bars - i use Atkins coconut bars and chocolate chip bar for snacks. An apple is handy for a quick munch. Lay off bread - or calorie count based on known sandwiches
If i can i buy ready made calorie counted salads or sandwiches from m and s. this is all more difficult if you are being catered for. London should be enjoyed - I just try to reign it in where i can. So enjoy the meal out but try to cut back in day?
Good luck - I look forward to reading your update next week
Those pesky blips!!! Above all, enjoy your trip to London, and start in earnest whence you return...xx
enjoy yourself in london and tell yourself that you will be back on it when you get back home. im a firm believer that life is for living and not to be on a diet all the time and miss out on things !... i know when i go to london i do loads of walking so earn some extra calories that way... hope you have a good time x
