Been to sainsburys and tried on some clothes in the sale...3 out of 20 items fitted. One of which was a jacket.
Now I want to stuff my face.

I know exactly how that feels, Elyg and although I've lost 7 stone, the memory is still with me and I still don't like shopping!
Here's the thing. Is stuffing your face going to make those clothes fit you better? Is it really going to make you feel better, in the long run?
You've done exactly the right thing, by coming here and telling us how horrible you're feeling. My advice, is to go to your wardrobe and find something that's really nice, but one size smaller than what you're wearing at the moment. Make a pact, that you'll try it on, after every weigh-in and you'll measure the gape. In next to no time, that item will fit you, it won't have cost a penny and you won't need to feel humiliated, or depressed!
I started off at a size 24/26 and am a 14/16 now. If I can do it, so can you
I know how you feel, I think all of us here do. But we also know that stuffing your face will not help; in fact you'll end up feeling worse! Keeping eating healthy and working out, you'll get there.
Ham & salad for my tea tonight. I had a walk around our Asda. Chicken for dinner tomorrow. Have a nice weekend Sazkia. 🌷G
Oh I HATE shopping- moreless is right a piece of target clothing is very motivating. Don't forget different shops have all different sizing. Give yourself a different treat a lovely bath or a completely decadent piece of kitchen equipment to make all the healthy foods that will get you into new clothes 😀
Well done for posting rather than running to the fridge.
moreless has summed it up nicely.
Stay strong now and think how good you'll feel tomorrow morning.
Just put your feet up or just stick the kettle on & hae a cuppa. Tomorrow is another day. Read the posts by the rest of the group. All good info. Good luck. You can do it. 🌹G
Don't do it, you will regret it. Instead celebrate that three things fitted, one of which was your lovely jacket.
I do sympathise - my problem is my hips. Any surplus weight sits there, and then nothing fits nicely or even does up. It can be demoralising.
However, as you lose weight, it is immensely motivating to find that you do fit into those clothes, and then that they are too big and you need to try the smaller size. So try not to be put off your diet by it. Instead try to use it as a motivation to keep going. Remember, if you stick to your diet you will lose weight - it is impossible not to - and then you can have another trying on session with a much happier result.
Don't let clothes shopping get you down. No matter what size you are, it's all hit and miss. I still don't enjoy it ( eg, yesterday I went shopping for a swimsuit , very depressing, it nearly sent me straight into the chocolate shop!!) .
But you've had excellent advice above from moreless , so stay on the wagon and try again in a month's time.
I know how you feel hate new to this site and i put a pink dress i bought last year and my goal was to get back into it that has got a bit tight and try it on after i weigh i lost 9lb can know do it up a couple more and it will fit nice feels much better then going shopping
