Haven't been on the forum for quite a while. I checked my weight at the weekend and I'm back to 12 and a half stone 🙁. So it's time to start again!

Join the club! I know that slightly slipped off the wagon feeling ....I haven't properly got back into the swing of sensible portions, and less snacking, since before Christmas.

I can make a million excuses why, but the end result is a 7lb gain since end of November.

So we have to tell ourselves, OK, its winter, cold and wet, we have had our share of colds, and family worries, and we know it is not going to be just "a walk in the park" (or maybe it should!!).

Let's get our heads out of the sand - look those temptations in the eye and say NO! Put on a raincoat and head out for that walk - splash in the puddles, tidy the garden, sort out the wardrobe, spring clean the bedroom - anything to get busy and out of the kitchen and to give yourself that "pleased with yourself" feeling, which in turn boosts the self-esteem and lessens the need to comfort eat.
