Does anyone use a spinning bike or a indoor bike for excercising?
If so ,have you benefitted from it?
I am thinking of buying one ,so any advice would be appreciated.

Hello Gary on Tues Jeremy Vine did a thing about it on his radio programme if you can find a repeat online ? BBC 2 12-2
I've never done it but I know people who have and they really benefitted from it but they went to classes
After the interview with the ladies who taught it and Jeremy Vine having a go there were loads of people texting in saying how great it is
Keep me posted
Sheila 😉
Hi Sheila,
Thanks I will let you know,I've done a class.i want to do something at home,I've gone off the rails so it's time to act.im away at the end of the week,so last time I went away I lost weight so this could be my kick start.
Thanks again
Gary
The best thing we did was buy an exercise bike. I keep it downstairs so there is no risk of it becoming a clothes horse upstairs. Mine has 8 resistance settings and it measures km, calories and pulse plus time. It was from tesco. By the time you have thought about going to the gym, you have cycled 10 km. It has toned my lower half up but I was so saddle sore at first. Have a cushion to hand!
Do you have a real bike? We bought a think from Halfords which holds it in place so you can use your own bike indoors. It is cheap, £50 approx and works really well. It has a resistance thing in handle bars. It doesn't damage own bike.
I had my own spinning bike for around four years and it was well used for the length of time that I had it.
The only reason I stopped using it was after the bolt running through the pedal sheared off and I was unable to find a replacement.
However, due to the emergence of budget gyms, I didn't mind, since they possess spinning bikes in abundance, so never replaced the one I owned (it was eventually weighed for scrap metal).
In essence, provided it continues to be used after purchase, a spinning bike will serve you well, both in terms of increasing fitness and calorie burn both during and after use.
Depending on budget, it'd be worth considering re-conditioned commercial spinning bikes, such as Schwin.
Thanks for your reply,I will let you know how I get on. Thanks once again Gary
I have an indoor bike and a small pedal machine, for use on the sofa 😁 they definitely help!
Good luck gman1961 😊 I use mine all the time as you know 😊🚴🏽🏅
Hi Garry. I am using a road bike, a smart trainer and the online zwift. Its fun as well.
