Focus on the day-to-day, chiefly, the maintenance of a calorie defict, the reduction of refined carbohydrate and increased uptake of activity/exercise and you'll soon reap the rewards.
If not having chocolate makes you feel really deprived, build in a choc treat within your calorie allowance. A little 100-200 cal treat each day worked for me. Everyone has to decide what works for him or her. Just don't have it in addition to your calorie allowance. Good luck.
