Not sure why I got on here...I'm new, and need to lose...but can't seem to jump in and start doing. ?????

Like me when I first came across this community, you probably felt like you were getting nowhere fast, read a few posts out of curiosity and it sounded like something good was happening (which it is for so many of us).

I would say, rather than jumping in, try dipping your toe in the water and make a positive change to your lifestyle that you feel you can sustain using the NHS 12 week plan as your guide.

The NHS BMI calculator is really brilliant to guide you on how many calories you should be eating daily and there is a lot of support from the lovely people on this forum. It's not easy, but it is worth making those changes. x

PS I'm a firm believer in "every journey starts with a single step". My first step was to clear the house of cakes, biscuits and chocolate. That's all I did for the first week and here I am nearly 4 1/2 stone later!
