Hi positive16. Half a pound is not much to worry about but I would agree that you should write all your calories down. It is so easy to overestimate or forget what you have eaten. Sorry you have been walking a lot but not lost weight but maybe it is the guesstimating that is letting you down. I am sure once you keep within your calorie allowance and keep up with the walking you will soon see the results on those scales. Best of luck
I have to measure, calculate and write down - it's so easy to convince myself I've not eaten something otherwise
I use an app to make the calculations easier. I like my fitness pal but there are others
#nteapea thanks this is exactly what I need, tried a few I have android phone sometime reception poor, will try this one again,? is it free, the nutra one looks good but couldn't get it to work on my phone and its not free I don't think
# nteapea - thanks I will have a look, I did like the other as it has pictures of the food, making my calorie counting easy, but each day I didn't know how to store the calories, I am a techno failure, bought small calorie book, but I have normally eaten the food by time I have found it in the book!!
