I use an app on my phone to do this. There are several available; I just used the one that was already installed on my phone (S Health).
Probably the most important thing is that you are consistent in logging your meals so you can see how balaced your diet is and what eating habits are leading to your success 😊
I agree with logging everything you eat and drink. I use my fitbit app but anywhere will work as long as you do it. I log everything - good or bad- and it really makes you think twice about what, when and how much you eat.
