Mashed avocado on wholegrain toast a couple of times a week works a real treat to break up the daily routine and keeps me going well into lunch time

Hi

eggs poached or boiled. Bacon grilled tomatoes baked beans toast. Porridge with honey and roasted coconut.

There are different yoghurt with various fruits - I am not a yoghurt lover.

Hope that helps ☺

Hi Aimeerose1, if you look at the Recipes/meals/snacks Topic, you'll see there's a whole section on breakfasts :)

Hi Aimeerose1,

Did you enjoy your porridge with blueberries? Porridge is definitely one of my favourite breakfasts, and I tend to add various fruits and also some nuts and seeds too.

Haddock, poached egg and wholemeal toast is very tasty for a change.

Omelettes are good too.

Lots of options in the Recipe collation post for breakfasts - so do check that out. It's in the Pinned posts area.

Lowcal :-)

HI Aimeerose1,

The Pinned posts are all on the right-hand-side of the homepage, and the Recipe collation post is found by clicking on 'view more' as it's towards the bottom, but I will give you the link to it here:

Breakfasts are all in a section together within that post.

Chickpea pancakes are good. Mix chickpea flour with milk and water until like thick custard. Ladl into hot frying pan with a bit of oil in. Cook for a minute then flip and cook another minute. Will be golden on both sides. Gluten free and high in protein. Great with a bit of bacon. Or you can make them sweet by eating with apple puree or honey. 😊
