Start on monday
I think I agree. Ive only just come across this site last night with determination to start today and Im unwell. Full of fever, aches and tiredness. I've not got one ounce of energy to even do a 15 minute walk, so .....diet starts on Monday.
Welcome Angela, Hope you feel better soon!!!
Lowcal
Thank you, today Im a bit better and Ive had a good day food wise, but Im hoping thats not just because Im still slightly unwell. One day at a time
Ange
Hi Ange,
Taking it one day at a time is very sensible. Glad you're feeling a bit better today, and that you've had a good day food-wise.
Take care, and hopefully you'll feel that bit better again tomorrow!
Lowcal
Hi Lowcal,
How do I add my weight to the Monday weigh in?
I'll pop back with the link for you, one moment...
Back again, angelainexeter - just click on this link, have a read through the post (particularly the bit about 'Note to Newbies' and then click on reply to that post, so you can write what you wish to be included in your first weigh-in post, and one of the Fab 5'ers will reply to you!

Hope your feeling better soon tomorrow is the end of my first week I feel so much better in just a week so hope you can too xx
Hello both!
If you haven't already done so, do take a look at the welcome newbies post on the right hand side of this page. We have a weekly Monday weigh in which you might want to join in with too, as it gives a great incentive to keep going. Look out for the post from our moderators Lowcal and Moreless and just post your starting weight and how much you want to lose.
Many of us are doing the nhs 12 week plan (if you google it, you can check your BMI and also calculate how many calories you should have to lose weight for your height and weight.
I use the myfitnesspal ap to log and keep track of calories and exercise which has helped me loads.
Good luck and do post on here as it is a great, very friendly forum....
HI E11e,
Welcome and I hope you enjoy the forum. The NHS 12 week plan is really good, so do check that out, and join in with anything you like the look of in the forum - some great Challenges in the Pinned posts area.
The Monday group weigh-in is fun too, if you like the idea of a larger group to weigh-in with. Do join us.
