Hi I am just starting on the NHS 12 week plan. I need to loose weight cause my joints and my feet are suffering. I am 52 and want to keep healthy for my hubby and children and 5 wonderfully grandchildren.
All new for me. : Hi I am just starting... - Weight Loss Support
All new for me.
Hi and welcome supernannie
Take a look at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread. Consider joining any, or all, of our challenges, as they're fun and motivating.
Join us for the monday group weigh-in. If you follow Zest and myself, you'll be notified when we post the threads. However, the latest thread can always be found in the events section, to the right of the home page.
Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration
Wishing you all the very best
Hi supernannie
Welcome to the forum and good luck...the main reason is always definitely for you though! You'll find loads of support here, I am sure.

Thank you it is nice to get some support.xx
You couldn't do a better thing supernannie than shed a few pounds; your feet and legs will love you for it! My leg and ankle swelling has gone right down and I have lost my night cramps. I can dance all night (and often do!) and instead of puffing trying to walk to the shops, I can manage a 9 mile walk now and just shrug it off. My feet still ache sometimes, but I think a 20 year old's feet would ache after that kind of pounding! The effort is well worth it. Here's to a happier and healthier you x
Hello and welcome supernannie 😊 The first few days are the most difficult but you will soon get into the swing of things 😊 Losing weight and increasing fitness were my main motivations too and 13 months on I am feeling 20 years younger 😊
Good luck 😊
