Hi all I'm new and as of Monday I will be getting back on the wagon. I lost 2 stone last year but Xmas tripped me up in a big way and I lost my motivation. I don't know how much I way as when I got on my scales it said error so I guess it must be a lot lol. At least it didn't say only one at a time lol .
I'm going to try and keep myself motivated by buying myself treat (non food) when I reach my personal goals but being slimmer will be a treat in itself . How do others keep themselves motivated ? I hope everybody has a lovely day πβΊπ
Hi Missmiff. Well done for losing 2 stone last year, it sounds like you know exactly what to do so I am sure once you get back on the wagon again you will find your motivation. This forum is great for motivation. It's 24/7! Always posts to read and people to support you if you need help. I have been on here for about 6 months now and it has definitely helped me to get to my goal. Good idea to set goals and buy yourself non food treats. From reading posts on here it seems it's best to set small goals that are achievable. Maybe try to find something that you really want and put a picture of it where you can see it every day as a reminder why you are doing this. Best of luck to you
Im going to stick a picture of me when I was slimmer of my fridge to remind myself I can be slim again my ultimate goal is to have a 50s pin up style photoshoot when I reach my goal π
Hi, loving your idea for a non food reward when you reach your goal, photo shoot sounds fab! Give yourself mini treats too though, say every half stone? You've done it before, so you can do it again! Good luck!
ps my scales say error when they need a new battery, maybe yours are the same
I put a new battery in and the ran off out of the door lol π there working fine now I've already thought of my mini treat new nails not had acrylics since Xmas π
It sounds to me as if you're right back into the right headspace, so from now on in, it's all downhill!
