Hi Agandira,

Welcome to the NHS weight loss forum. It's great that you're going to be following the NHS 12 week plan, and I hope you enjoy being part of this forum. If you've not yet seen it, I'd recommend reading our Welcome Newbie post - it's in the Pinned posts section (top right-hand-side of the homepage). Also, there's a Monday group weigh-in, and several Challenges going on in the forum, so do have a look to see if you like the look of any, and would like to join in. You'd be very welcome.

Have a great week and weekend.

Lowcal :-)

Thank you Kenny25, I appreciate your support, I don't know why but I became emotional reading your replies (you, Lowcal, Sazkia & muffintop67), I know its not going to be easy but I am determined to do it, and I will be posting my progress. Have a good weekend. Agandira

Hi Agandira,

I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss goal. I'm new here too, I want to lose around six stone, which I think might be 38kg? I'm going to take it one step at a time though, every half stone to every stone. :)

Hi Sazkia, thank you for your support, I wish you the best in your weight loss journey. I believe we can do it! I am 171 cm tall and weight 84kg as of today, my GP said I need to lose 20-24kg to have healthy BMI. My biggest problem is alcohol, I drink more than I should, I'm hoping to stay away from it during this 12 week plan and hopefully for good :) Thanks again for welcoming me and good luck :)

As we've both started around the same time I think we can be useful to each other. Stay in touch and let me know how you get on. :)

Hi Agandira. Welcome and best of luck with the 12 week plan. Stick with it and I am sure you will see results very quickly. I have managed to lose nearly 12kg and am currently trying to maintain that weight. The support and motivation on this forum kept me going throughout the journey. Hope it helps you too :)

You are very welcome. If you come on here regularly you get to see familiar names of people keep popping up and you realise you are not alone. If you feel down or just not having a good day then pop on the forum and join in with some of the discussions. Worked for me - hope it does for you too :)
