Only 1 lb lost.: Only 1lb lost this week... - Weight Loss Support
Only 1 lb lost.
try to google 1 pound of fat....that might help...it might sound like a small amount but I think that is key to stick to it. Last week I gained 0.100kg..and that motivated me to start tracking, drink more water and stick to the gym...I hope this helps
Don't be downhearted! I think the warmer weather may be partly to blame - dreaded water retention! As you know I stuck to my calories and did loads of walking and still only lost half a pound 😓 but on the positive side we have lost not gained! Onwards and downwards! Good luck this week !
A loss is a loss, always good
Well I had expected / hoped to lose but ended up putting on half a pound, despite staying within my calorie range.
I would be jumping around quite happily if I had lost a pound!
If I feel like that, I go to the fridge and get out a pound of butter.... That's what you've lost, and that's great Isn't it? 😊
Right GMAN YOU PATHETIC EJIT ONLY LOSING 1LB OF UNWANTED OR UNNEEDED FLABBY FAT....
Right, now you feel great, 1lb of fat. You should be singing your praises not grumping about it....
It has taken your whole life to get to where you are today. The excess weight you have at the moment went on over time and should come off at the same speed. If you lose weight too fast then the chances are that it will go back on just as quickly. Lose 1lb a week every week for a year with 4 weeks off for birthdays and celebrations and you can lose 48lbs a year. Now that's some going.
I run a group where I live to help people lose weight without going on a diet. Here is my video for this week. Have a look. See if it helps you any and above all good luck and stay focused. I've lost 145lbs and kept it off.
Hi dadtoad,
I will have a look at the video ,thanks for your reply.i was talking to someone yesterday and they used to take part in marathon running .I felt so inspired to start running again , probably even more so when I watch your video.ill let you know how I get on .thanks once again.
That's a pound more than me, so I'm quite jealous!
Seriously, 1lb lost is great -that's 3500 calories more burned off than you took in. Not a small achievement at all.
